Transformer Swap

Our team in action swapping out a 225K transformer. By the way, do you know why transformers hum?… Because they don’t know the words ;-)

ASU Greek Leadership Village

Mickey B. is building the ASU Greek Leadership Village, and if you are like me you said “What is that and what does it do?” Well, the Greek Leadership Village is a student-led project that will provide the ASU fraternity and sorority community with meeting spaces, council offices, retail space and housing facilities to support their leadership. It is being constructed in direct response to student demand and feedback and will open in the fall of 2018. When we get closer to completion The Eye will have Miguel take us on a tour.

Jacob Walser – Atta Boy!

Quick shout out to Hawkeye Foreman, Jacob Walser, for doing a great job out at the Mesa HHW project.  Such a great job, in fact, that the project electrical engineer, Mike Pearson with Pearson Engineering Associates, felt compelled to reach out with this emailed commendation (click on link below).

Hawkeye would like to thank you, Jacob Walser, for going that extra mile to show people that you really care about the quality of the work produced on your projects!

Joseph Lawson – Positively Representing Hawkeye in the Community

Team Hawk,

If you have the opportunity during your work day, please pass along your thanks to Joe Lawson for his actions taken on 11/30/17 to help a lost little boy.  Emails like the one shown below (received 12/6/17 from the City of Surprise Police Department) serve as a reminder of what a great team of dedicated individuals we have here at Hawkeye Electric.

(to view the email, click on image below and a larger scale readable version will pop up).

Thanks, Joe!  And thanks to all you guys and gals who go out of your way to represent the company in a positive manner out there in the community.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to TEAM HAWK!

Ryan Langohr – Going that Extra Mile!

Hawkeye wants to give a big shout out to Service Technician, Ryan Langohr, for going that extra mile by volunteering his time to participate in the remodel of a child’s bedroom through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  This was not an event that was set up by Hawkeye.  Ryan volunteered on his own to help this family in need.  Thanks, Ryan, for representing Hawkeye Electric in such a positive community event!

Brian Lines – Good Samaritan

Too often people only get acknowledged for their mistakes with good behavior going unrecognized.  During this time of year in particular, I think it’s important to thank people for hard work and good deeds.  It is for that reason I enter this blog update about Brian Lines.  This letter was received at Hawkeye recently.  Please check it out, clicking below and reading the letter.  Brian, thanks for stepping up and representing Hawkeye Electric in such a positive light.  It’s guys like you who make this such a great company and make me proud to be a part of it.  Thanks!
